SIZING
Normally when buying clothing online, sizing can leave the purchaser in quite a conundrum. They mostly have to resort to reviews from other customers leaving it quite difficult to make a decision. A sizing chart doesn’t quite tell you fit and feel, tailored fit, or loose fit. We have decided to approach this a different way, rather than having to take out the tape measure.
We have all the standard sizes XS-2XL however, our sizes run ½ size to 1 size big, what this means is that if you are normally a large, the medium will fit you well for a trim tailored look. We went up a size to allow for usage over a field jacket.
Here is what we’d recommend, if you’re looking for a trendy tailored Jason Bourne look and are in shape, for everyday streetwear, traveling, to and from work, dinner out, movies etc. Go down a size, it looks good this way, especially if you cinch in the cords tailoring in around the ribcage. Remember that the fleece liner is also removable, which creates even more space if you feel that it will be too warm in your location. This allows for more shoulder room as well.
For reference, our model in the photos is 6’2 185lbs. In both the street and field photos he is wearing size medium with the fleece installed, this is one size down from him, he is usually a large. If you have broad shoulders and prefer a relaxed look, go with your normal T-shirt size.
If you plan on removing the fleece liner and never plan to use the jacket with anything bulky underneath. Drop down a size from your normal size Large down to medium.
If you plan on wearing the jacket for field use only, go with your normal size
If you plan on wearing the jacket with fleece installed for field use and want to wear it over bulky field clothing like a combat top, go up a size from your normal size.
